George Bush Admits Global Warming Real: Pray, The Next Big Hoax?
For those who fervently follow global warming to the secret labyrinths of the White House, we all know what the professional spinners did with that email attachment from the Environmental Protection Agency about how greenhouse gasses were polluting the environment and should be checked.
Instead of acting upon it or even printing copies to president George Bush and his handlers, they tossed it in a cyber trash bin called Spam folder as if that was the only green thing to do.
Many months after Scott McClellan quit spinning for Dubya, climate watchers are crying foul that he never ever touched the seemingly hot subject in his recently released book, What Happened. But in his famous spins, he had blamed human activity - you and me - as responsible for global warming on more than one occasion.
Spin can be clever tomfoolery sometimes but the White House stance on global warming is well known and George W. Bush has never disappointed with his public statements that smack verily of official ignorance or pretense on the subject as an inconvenient truth.
What if the White House decided to take the global lead in addressing greenhouse gas emissions and played a more prominent role in combating global warming with same the zeal it suppressed the EPA recommendations document that suggested long term savings of up to US$2 trillion through 2040 if the federal government was to enact tougher greenhouse gas regulations for new automobiles?
But as Bush joins the G8 Summit in Hokkaido, Japan next week, the environmental group, WWF, issued an alarm report that the summit will be just another talk shop because the leaders (whose nations are responsible for 62% of the CO2 in atmosphere) have largely failed to follow through on past commitments on climate change.
Niklas Hoehne, the report’s author, lamented: “None of the eight leading industrial nations have taken sufficient measures needed to be considered in line with the target to limit a worldwide increase in temperatures to 2 degrees centigrade.”
China supported that stance by pouring cold water on George Bush’s grandiose but unconvincing statement at a White House press briefing that: “The first thing is to make sure we get a understanding that all of us need to agree on a long-term goal.”
Su Wei, director-general of the Office of China’s National Leading Group on Climate Change, dismissed Bush thus: “We should focus on real, practical shorter-term and medium-term actions, empty talk of long-term goals does not produce any specific results to address climate change.”
A high level meeting in South East Asia blamed industrialized nations for global warming and adopted a three-year action plan Thursday for regional cooperation to combat climate change effects. The plan will include the sharing of information and best practices on nationally appropriate actions to mitigate carbon emissions.
My prayer, however, is that George Bush’s renewed long term commitment on global warming should not be the next big hoax. Otherwise official skeptics of global warming and mega spinners stationed at the White House will continue to have a field day.

Global warming is not real. It is a big government power grabbing hoax.
It is a fact that CO2 levels rise AFTER the temp does. It is also a fact that the same government funded idiots who came up with this crooked mess are the same ones who have a 100% WRONG track record. There is no ice age coming, no acid rain, no Ozone layer hole problem that’s going to kill us, and I could go on and on. They have been absolutely wrong 100% of the time.
When I was in school, they told me that “by 1995 we will be OUT of oil, coal, natural gas, etc”, well… it was BULLSHIT!
This is too. The sky is NOT falling, and you’d better watch out because the real intentions of the world governments is to take your $ and your freedom.
And get rid of catalytic converters if you believe CO2 is bad. cars are the biggest man-made source of CO2 because the CCV turns the other gasses into harmless CO2 and water vapor. Every car is a co2 pump in the global warming community.. so go ahead and ban the CCV. They are not needed anyway.
Everyone better start worrying about the REAL environmental problems or we WILL be screwed. Bees cannot even survive any more and we need them, bats are dropping dead and not eating mosquitoes that spread disease. Our food is being geneticly altered ad is screwing up the earth. The rain forrest is STILL being torn down and will very shortly be gone altogether. The source of the USA whether is the precipitation over the rain forrest. The tides now bring warm currents north, melting ice, just as some predicted (it’s not co2). Just about every lake is poisoned with sewage and trash,I could go on, but my point is that since the SOUTHERN ice caps are growing, not melting, and the past 5 years has been cooler than average, the problem is not man made global warming. It’s all a big sham! Let’s do something about REAL problems!

I would agree with you on one point, which is that mass extinction is an unequivocally real danger to the biosphere as much as / arguably more than global warming.

Actually, approximately 95% of the C02 in the atmosphere is from natural sources.

I agree with BS. I was looking at the Schumann-Runge absorption curves of UV-C by deep ultraviolet. The UV is absorbed during the dissociation of O2, so there it illogical to say that the ozone layer is protecting us from UV. Ozone is made by the UV splitting the oxygen. For this to be a problem the UV would have to work its way down through 20 miles of oxygen. When I saw this curve I saw that there could not be increased UV at ground level. Sure enough when I dug through enough IPCC trash science reports, they sheepishly acknowledge that there is no increased UV at the Earth’s surface, as I obvious because O2 is shielding us, not ozone in any case! Environmentalist need to stop being the stupid pawns of Prince Philip. He just wants us all dead so we dont spoil his global hunting reserve.
