   Dear Alison and Kyrah: Yes, it is a real picture and this was a real animal. No, it is not fake or “shopped”. A search in an Encyclopedia (the paper kind) or on the Internet if you prefer for “Tasmanian Tiger” will show this now extinct animal.

   In this age of Photoshop, people are becoming (perhaps rightly) skeptical of unfamiliar images.    @artie: The animals in the photograph are alive. I presume you are wondering if they were stuffed and mounted since they clearly look live. The answer is no, it’s just an old photograph fom before their extinction.

   all animals will become extinct at some point or another its just we need to stop helping the prosses along faster than it should be going.

   how long has the tasmanian tiger been around and do they actually eat meat.
