   Who could I contact if I have seen one of these turtles in Ukraine? I was a peace corps volunteer in the Sumy region, and in a small and dirty indoor zoo/aquarium in the city of Okhtirka, there is a large pale turtle that looks exactly like this one. It is advertised as a Yangtze Turtle. Is it possible that this turtle has also gone unaccounted for? I know Ukraine well enough to know that not everything gets reported. Let me know. Matt

   Contanct the Turtle survival alliance. if it is not this species it still may be other rare gaint softshell. http://www.turtlesurvival.org/ Please make every effort do contanct someone if you think it is what you saw.
