The worst drought in 26 years is threatening the survival of a rare herd of desert elephants in Mali. A number have already died and more are struggling to survive. Save the Elephants is taking donations to help the elephants before they die.

I just donated about $7 using my Digg name ‘Solboldi’ on 5/21/09. Let’s get some more funds to those desperate elephants. For the cost of a latte, or two scones/doughnuts we can all help save them. I used PayPal to donate, and it took about 1 minute.
Rains might come in June but they might not make it that long.
